This section covers the lesser-known
activities when visiting the area such as those offered by the Jet
Ski and Wave Runner Operators of the Lake Cecile Area on US192.
Lake Cecile is a beautifully natural body of water running parallel
to US 192. Beginning at the Star Island Resort, at the junction of
Ave of the Stars to just east of the junction with Vineland
Rd. (Hwy. 535). Right by the Best Western Suites and Resort.
Though only a few hundred feet off the highway, it is surprisingly
secluded and is well hidden from the commercial businesses. It is
probably best viewed from the junction of Hwy. 535.
For most of the Resorts, Hotels and Motels located on this side of
the highway this natural feature adds an additional amenity to your

population feeding, graceful ducks swimming in and out of the lily
pads or even the nightly fireworks at Disney depending on your
property's location by the lake.

the most famous of these operators has always been
'Dave's Ski School' formerly based on Lake Cecile at
what used to be the Residence Inn by Marriott (now
called the 'Suites and Resorts Hotel on Lake Cecile').

in 'Waterskiing' via this school. In fact, it's probably
even safe to say, that this school is even more popular
in the UK as it has served thousands of UK visitors over
the years. I'm sure many of you have had difficulty in
finding it again. So, here goes, we'll make it easy for
you. They've moved to Lake Buena Vista.
Although the entrance is somewhat hidden, it's entrance
is there nonetheless, and is nestled between 'Landry's Steak & Seafood
Restaurant' and the 'Holiday Inn Sunspree.' Just look for the sign that says 'Buena
